The Great Commission

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart

that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness,

and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

 Romans 10:9-10

Today's Bible Reading: Matthew 28:16-20.

For Christians, Easter represents the victory of Jesus Christ over death. The Messiah, Jesus Christ, not only died, but rose to life again that first resurrection day, that we call Pasen in Duch; Pâques in French; Ostern in Germany; Pascua de Resurrección in Spanish and Easter in English.

We are not meant to keep this Good-News to ourselves. Jesus died for the sins of the world, and the gift of salvation is available to all who believe. As Christians, we are called to tell others about God, His great love for us, and demonstrated in the life, death and resurrection of His Son from the dead.

During this season of Easter, I encourage you to share the joy of Easter with others. Celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and reflect on the sacrifice He made on the cross. In telling others of His goodness, we can bring Him glory, and carry out His great Commission to all believers, (Matt 28:19) Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations (people).

Today, If you have not done so before, if you believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and put your trust in Him, you too can receive forgiveness and salvation.

Prayer: One True and Living God, thank You, for Easter, and the wonderful Good-News we Christians have to share. Help me and give me opptunities to tell others about my Saviour. In His name I pray and ask. Amen.
