Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved
Romans 10:13 is a powerful verse that speaks to the heart of the gospel message. It says, "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." This is a profound truth that we Christians must never forget. First, we must recognize that our salvation is not something that we can earn or deserve. We are saved solely by God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. This verse emphasizes that it is not our good works or righteous deeds that save us, but rather it is our faith in the Lord that brings us into a saving relationship with Him. Second, we must remember that this salvation is available to everyone, the Bible says: “whoever” calls on the name of the Lord. There are no limitations or exclusions based on race, ethnicity, gender, or social status. The gospel message is for all people, and we are called to share this Good News with everyone we meet.
Finally, we must recognize the urgency of this message. We live in a world that is lost and in need of salvation. We must be bold and courageous in sharing the Gospel with others, knowing that their eternal destiny is at stake. Let us never forget the power of Romans 10:13. Let us cling to the truth that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and let us be faithful in sharing this message too.
Lord God, let me cling to the truth that I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and let me be faithful in sharing this truth with those around me. In Jesus name. Amen.
