Feeling Empty ?

 Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength . . .

     Isaiah 40:3

Today's Bible Reading: Isaiah 40:28-31.

As believers in the Lord Jesus, we can always look to God for help and encouragement when we feel overburdened, because “He neither faints nor is weary” (Isaiah 40:28). The prophet Isaiah tells us that our Father in heaven “gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength” (v. 29). Even though God's strength never fails, He knows that we will have days when we are physically and emotionally exhausted (v 30). But when we wait on the Lord and draw our strength from Him, rather than striving in our own power, He will renew us. He gives us fresh resolve to press on in faith, empowered by His enduring strength.

If you are feeling tired and empty today, look to the Lord and He will renew your strengthen.
