A Promise for Everyone

ree

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus

and believe in your heart that God has

raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans:10:9

Today's Bible Reading: Romans 10:8-13.

In today's Bible reading, I want to draw your attention to verse 13, there the Bible says: "For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." In this verse, we see a powerful promise from God. He says that whoever calls on His name will be saved. This means that no matter who you are or what you have done, if you call on the name of the Lord, He will save you.

It is important to understand what it means to call on the name of the Lord. It means to confess your sins and ask God to forgive you, and to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. When you do this, you are acknowledging that you cannot save yourself and that you need God's help. You are also putting your trust in Jesus Christ, His Son, who died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins.

Verse 13, is a promise and is available to everyone, regardless of their background, race, or social status. It does not matter how good or bad you think you are, or how much you have messed up in the past. All you have to do is call on the name of the Lord, and He will save you.

If you have not already done so, then today, I encourage you to call on the name of the Lord. Confess your sins, ask God to forgive you, and accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Know that when you do this, you have the promise of eternal life and the assurance that you are saved by God's grace; And then follow Him, and let Him be your example.

Prayer:  Dear Lord God, I thank You for the promise of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. I pray today for those who have not yet accepted Jesus as their Saviour, that they may hear your voice and respond to your call. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
