Look To God

ree

Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth!

For I am God, and there is no other.

Isaiah 45:22

Today's Bible Reading: Isaiah 45:22-25.

This verse is a powerful reminder of God's sovereignty and His desire for all people to turn to Him for salvation. In the Reformed tradition, we believe that salvation is a work of God's grace, and it is through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved. But where do we see Jesus in this verse? Christians believe that Jesus is the perfect embodiment of God's love and grace, and that He is the only way to true salvation. In John 14:6, Jesus declares, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can turn to God and be saved. Additionally, in Philippians 2:9-11, we read that "God has highly exalted Him [Jesus] and given Him the name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Jesus is the name above every name, and it is through Him that we are saved. As we reflect on Isaiah 45:22, let us turn our hearts to Christ and place our faith in Him. He is the only way to true salvation, and it is through Him that we can have eternal life with God.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your love and grace, and for sending your Son, Jesus Christ, to be my Saviour. Help me to turn to Him and place my faith in Him, that I may have eternal life with You. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
