A New Creation

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation . . .

2 Corinthians 5:17

Today's Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:16-21.

It is indeed, a wonderful truth and therefore fact, that the Lord Jesus Christ not only lived in the flesh, but He can live in you. He can be incarnate in your heart. Right now, where you are, you can receive Christ into your heart and experience the incarnation of God in the human soul.

The most astounding fact of all history—the most astounding fact of all ages—is that the great and almighty God of Heaven can live in your heart. It makes no difference who you are. Your life can be changed if you will humble yourself and let Christ take up residence in your heart; And you will be a “new creation!”

Now, you might say, “How can that be? How can I have God living in my heart and fill the aching void of my life?” Simply and sincerely, do this right now: Turn from your sins. Tell God, “I am a sinner. I turn from my sins—I give them up. I turn to Jesus Christ by faith.” You can do that now, wherever you are. Then, the Lord Jesus will forgive you of your sins and live in your heart if you will come to Him in faith. He is the only way to God. He died, so your sins could be forgiven, and He promises to save anyone who will turn from sin and receive Him by faith. You can do that right now. You can have abundant and eternal life if you will surrender to Christ today.

Prayer: Father God, thank You, that You indwell and empower with the Holy Spirit, all who believe on You, through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
