The Journey

Do not fear
Numbers 21:35
Today's Bible Reading: Numbers 21:33–35.
In Numbers 21, a lesser-known moment unfolds: Israel faces King Og of Bashan in battle. At first glance, it's just another historical encounter. But there's a deeper truth—God tells Moses, "Do not fear him, for I have delivered him into your hands."
We too, journey through a wilderness—life’s struggles, setbacks, and battles. Whether it’s illness, financial strain, or fractured relationships, we face enemies that feel overwhelming.
But God’s message remains the same: Do not fear.
Just as He fought for Israel, He fights for us. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” We may not always see the outcome, but we can trust His presence and power.
Take heart—your battles are not yours alone. The Lord who delivered Israel is still delivering His people today.
Prayer: Father God, In the battles of my life, help me to trust in You, for You are refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. In Christ's name I pray. Amen.
